Michael Andersen, BAS, PFP
With more than 15 years experience in financial services and a business degree from York University, Michael has completed the Canadian Securities, Conduct and Practices Handbook and Professional Financial Planning courses through the Canadian Securities Institute. Michael is committed to ongoing education and attends industry seminars throughout the year to stay abreast of changing legislation and new investment solutions.
Michael enjoys life in the community of Etobicoke with his wife Tina and son Simon. He is an avid reader and is passionate about travel, cooking and architecture and design. When Michael’s busy schedule permits time, you’ll find him playing basketball or on the golf course.

Darren Midgley, CIM, PFP
With a passion for finance, Darren also brings more than 15 years of experience in the industry and studied Economics at Laurentian University. He has also completed the Canadian Securities, Conduct and Practices Handbook, Professionals Financial Planning courses and Chartered Investment Manager Designation through the Canadian Securities Institute. Like Michael, Darren sees the value in keeping current with the latest news and ideas in the industry, supplementing his knowledge with ongoing education.

Robert Rizzuto, CFP, CLU, CH.F.C, TEP, BComm
Robert is a veteran of the insurance and investment industries, with more than 30 years of experience. His specialty is finding insurance solutions that integrate seamlessly into a comprehensive wealth management plan that meets the distinct needs of his clients.Robert began his career in the industry as an accredited insurance agent with Imperial Life Insurance Company. In 1994, Robert set off on his own, incorporating his practice as BRYLA Financial Group. A firm believer in the importance of unbiased advice and holistic wealth solutions, Robert joined Richardson GMP in 2014. Robert’s pursuit of finding the right solutions for his clients has required the pursuit of several top designations: Chartered Life Underwriter (1988), Chartered Financial Consultant (1991), Certified Financial Planner (1996) and Trust and Estate Practitioner (2004). A leader with a high degree of integrity, Robert joined the Board of Advocis in 1994 and served as President from 2003-2004. He is also currently a member of and past Chair of the Ethics Committee for the Canadian Life Underwriters Institute. Robert earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Toronto.

Brittany joined AMT Wealth Counsel in November 2014. With her strengths in client relations and a background in finance, Brittany is able to ensure high quality service while managing client requests. As an Associate, she is responsible for team scheduling, incoming inquiries and manages client information and documentation.
Brittany holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance from Ryerson University, Ted Rogers School of Management. She has completed her Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct Practice & Handbook (CPH) through the Canadian Securities Institute.
In her spare time Brittany enjoys spending time outdoors with her 2 year old daughter and newborn son. She has a passion for fashion and enjoys visiting new and interesting restaurants.

Kathy is the newest member to the team. She has worked with the team seven years ago as an intern in 2010. After completing her business degree at Ivey Business School at Western University, she joined the team again to focus on communications, business development, and marketing campaigns.
Kathy has always been interested in finance and entrepreneurship. Over the years, Kathy has worked in multiple financial industries, such as insurance, wealth management, and private equity. Additionally, Kathy has entrepreneurial experience as she has grown her family’s industrial importing company to over four times the size in the last eight years. Kathy is excited to work with the team again and looks forward to contributing her experiences and enthusiasm to AMT Wealth Counsel.
