Robert C. Caldwell

Director, Wealth Management & Investment Advisor

Robert has been a leader in the Kitchener-Waterloo investment community for more than 45 years. During that time his experience has taught him that client-centric processes and personalized solutions are the keys to financial success.

He has held many senior roles within the investment industry and on corporate boards, including as founder of his own investment firm, Member of the Board at the Investment Dealers' Association - a predecessor of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), Member of the Board at the Waterloo Brewing Co. (Formerly, Brick Brewing Co.), and Member on the Board at Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro.

Robert is also an active member of the community, having served on the boards of both the University of Waterloo and the Wilfrid Laurier University School of Business and Economics. He was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International and, in 2002, named an Honorary Senior Fellow of Renison College (University of Waterloo).

 

Justin D. Caldwell, H.BA

Associate Investment Advisor

  

Justin joined the team from one of Canada’s top public-policy think-tanks, the C.D. Howe Institute, where he refined his skills in analysis and relationship building by developing strategic partnerships with Canada’s leading CEOs and senior government stakeholders.

Justin works directly with clients and helps to guide them through a comprehensive wealth management process.

 

Carita Yosurack

Associate Investment Advisor

Carita has been a core member of the team for 40 years. During that time she has excelled at providing clients with the highest standard of care. In addition to fulfilling client requests and monitoring accounts, Carita's proficiency at administrative support allows the team to focus more of its time directly with clients and their portfolios. Carita is fully licensed as an Investment Advisor.

Maureen Glenn, B.A., FLMI, CFP®, TEP, EPC

Vice President, Tax & Estate Planning

Maureen works with Investment Advisory Teams and their affluent clients to navigate the entire wealth planning process; from initial discovery with the client, through to the final presentation. She is a dynamic speaker who can translate complex wealth planning concepts into efficient and effective action plans for clients. This holistic approach combined with her financial planning expertise offers a unique and practical perspective to retirement, trust, and estate planning.

Maureen joined the firm in 2006 and moved to the Tax & Estate Planning team in early 2010. The previous 20 years of her career were focused in the Life and Health Insurance Industry where she gained significant experience as a Financial Services Advisor, Mutual Fund Salesperson and as a product, sales, software and compliance trainer.

Maureen is a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) and the Canadian Investment Funds Course (IFIC). She also holds the designation of Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and other insurance designations from the Life Office Management Association (LOMA).

Robert Mendenhall, J.D., LL.M.

Vice President, Tax & Estate Planning

As part of the Tax & Estate Planning team, Robert works closely with clients and their Investment Advisors to identify solutions that address clients’ overall wealth planning needs. Once clients have a clear understanding of their planning needs, he focuses on helping them and their professional advisors implement the solutions selected.

Robert is a lawyer with many years of experience. Before coming to Richardson GMP, he worked at other financial institutions advising clients on trust, estate, and tax planning. Prior to that, he was a partner in a law firm. Robert obtained his Juris Doctor from the College of Law, University of Saskatchewan. Later, he obtained a Master of Laws degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University.

Robert has advanced his interests in wealth and estate planning by completing significant course work in tax and wealth preservation. He is a trained mediator and has actively mediated for the courts for many years. He has also completed training as a family business advisor and has facilitated succession planning sessions with families.

Robert belongs to the following professional associations: the Law Societies of Alberta and Saskatchewan, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Canadian Bar Association.

Brian Cabral, CFP®

Senior Financial Planner

Joining Richardson GMP as a Senior Financial Planner in 2017, Brian brings 9 years of financial consulting experience from his previous role at an actuarial consulting firm. Brian specializes in delivering financial solutions to high net worth individuals, professionals and corporations in the areas of pensions, executive compensation, retirement, tax and insurance.

Brian has attained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, completed the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP), was awarded a Bachelor’s degree from York University, and is presently enrolled in the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) program. He is a member of the Financial Planning Standards Council (FPSC®), a member of Advocis Toronto Chapter, and associate member of the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU).
