Meet our team
Christopher Cottier, BSc, MBA
Christopher has worked in the industry for over three decades. After obtaining his MBA, Chris began his career in banking and soon completed his securities registration to become an advisor to more effectively assist clients with financial planning. This focus on clients’ needs has prevailed throughout Christopher’s career — he is driven by his commitment to doing right by his clients. This is exemplified by the fact that in 1991, Chris was one of the first in Canada to become a fee-based Investment Advisor.
His honesty and commitment to serving others are demonstrated in other areas of his life as well. Chris has volunteered at various international sports events, including the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and Paralympics, the 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics, as well as FIFA Men’s U20 and Women’s U19 World Cups.
Christopher’s financial expertise is also sought by the publishing world. He is co-author of The Best Is Yet to Come, Enjoying a Financially Secure Retirement as well as technical editor for the Canadian editions of Finance for DummiesTM titles.
