Meet our team

Stephen Polonoski, FMA, CIM, DMS
Vice President & Assistant Branch Manager

I have been an Investment Advisor for more than ten years and I am licensed to trade stocks, equity options, commodities and future options. Combining my experience with a diverse group of clients, my understanding of technical analysis and my proactive and decisive nature, I provide the information and guidance investors need on a regular basis.

My credentials include two degrees from Lakehead University and fluency in Spanish and French. After successfully completing my Professional Financial Planning, Derivative, Option and Commodities courses, I went on to complete my Option Supervisor and Branch Manager designations. I have also attained my Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute and Financial Management Advisor designations, and most recently completed my Portfolio Management Techniques course.

I enjoy hosting investment seminars for our clients and the public. As well, I have recently joined forces with the Canadian Securities Institute to participate in the Junior Achievement Program to promote responsible financial reasoning and practical processes to students in the Waterloo Region. Dedicated to serving my community, I am an Executive Director and Treasurer to the non-profit Ontario Dual Sports Club (ODSC). The club was established for the promotion of safe off-road and dual sport motorcycle riding to both competitive and non-competitive riders. As a non-profit organization, the club's primary charitable organizations are MADD and the Ride for Sight.

I am committed to taking our clients from the discovery process through to investment selections and portfolio monitoring. My strengths include maintaining client relationships and the planning and execution of client total wealth management strategies.

A graduate of the University of Guelph with a B.Comm., I take a great deal of pride in the community where I live and work. For a two-year term I will work closely with the City of Kitchener on the Downtown Advisory Committee to promote both economic and social vitality in the city.
