Players in the band...

Our team is among the largest and most experienced in the wealth management business in Edmonton. Our size (7 staff) allows us to specialize, with each of our team members focusing on utilizing his or her particular skills and talents to bring excellence to each aspect of our investment management and client service process.

Our experience (over 100 years in financial services between us) is necessary because of the uniqueness of our service offering. We require a broad range of experienced individuals in order to meet our goal of providing clients with efficient, conservative, discretionary core wealth management, access to exclusive and unique alternative investment opportunities, and wrapping it all in the context of an in-depth Wealth Plan — all cornerstones of worry-free wealth.

Director, Wealth Management, Portfolio Manager and Branch Manager

Key role: Portfolio Management, Team Leadership, Alternative Investments

Driven by his passion to learn about the business world and keep abreast of new advancements in technology, Neil obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta in 1992 and then followed that with a Masters in Economics from the University of Dundee in Scotland. Neil then joined the investment industry with CIBC Wood Gundy, where he began building his roster of loyal clients at a young age. Along the way he teamed up with Pat Cooper and later Rob Campbell who all shared a common investment philosophy.

In 1996 Neil broke new ground by becoming one of the first Advisors in Canada to earn his Portfolio Manager’s designation – in fact, he was only the 16th person to obtain this qualification. As an early trailblazer, he led the industry to recognize investors’ demand for discretionary investment services to free them from the pressure of making day to day trading decisions.

Following Pat Cooper’s retirement Bosch Campbell Investment Management moved to Richardson Partners Financial Limited (predecessor to Richardson GMP) in 2005 and has been providing specialized services to entrepreneurs, affluent families and professionals at Richardson GMP since that time.

Neil is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®). When he is not advising clients and managing the Edmonton branch of Richardson GMP, Neil is an avid mountaineer and mountain guide who also serves as President of the Alpine Club of Canada. Together with Rob, Neil is co-founder of The Richardson GMP Evening of Wine and Words, an award-winning fundraiser in support of the Centre for Family Literacy, and he is also a member of the event’s organizing committee. Neil has participated in numerous marathons, triathlons and adventure races over the years which combines his love of the outdoors with his joy in taking on a new challenge.

Rob articled at Ernst and Young and became a Chartered Accountant before working in senior roles at two private enterprises in the late 1990s. In 1999, Rob teamed up with Neil Bosch and Pat Cooper to follow his fascination for investing into the financial services industry at CIBC Wood Gundy.
