As one of the original 5 partners, Jeff has been with Richardson GMP since 2005. Prior to this, he was Vice President and Investment Advisor at BMO Nesbitt Burns, where he worked for more than 18 years. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Accounting from McGill University.

Jeff enjoys coaching hockey, participating in Habitat for Humanity projects, golfing, cycling, fishing and spending time with his wife Patty and their three children.


Justin Azaria, B.Comm. FMA, FCSI

Associate Portfolio Manager

Justin joined Richardson GMP as a partner in 2013. Prior to that he advised investors at RBC Dominion Securities and TD Waterhouse for more than 10 years. Justin holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University with a major in Management and Enterprise Development. He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, (FCSI), a Financial Management Advisor (FMA) and holds his insurance and options licenses.

 Justin is very active in the community donating his time and expertise in various volunteer activities. During personal time, Justin plays guitar, attends concerts and enjoys spending time with his wife Brigitte and their two children.


Jason Mayers


As the newest member of team, Jason joins us with more than 14 years of experience on the product side of the investment industry bringing an in-depth insight into mutual funds and exchange-traded funds.

Jason enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife Lisa and their two young sons, spending time in the great outdoors fox hunting, participating in equine sports and playing beach volleyball.


Patty Torchia


Patty joined the team with several years of marketing, sales and project management experience from the Telecom Industry and her ongoing volunteer positions.

Patty volunteers her time in many leadership positions, and throughout the years has been chair of Parent Association and Assistant Manager for a Ringette Team. Patty also enjoys painting/sketching, reading and spending time with Jeff and their 3 children.
